1. Requested Information
(a.) All Jasper County, IA Sheriff’s Department electronic mail correspondence, including attachments mentioning Facebook, block, social media, phoenixharbor.com, or castlephoenix.com from 20 DEC 2021 at 0001 Local Time through 08 MAR 2021 at 2359 Local Time.
2. Conclusion
Enclosure (3.) provides evidence of Jasper County, IA, previously responding to a request for a search for electronic mail stored and preserved by Jasper County, IA, with zero fees assessed in accordance with Iowa Code Section 22.3. Enclosure (4.) provides evidence of approximately 1000 pages of electronic mail public records retrieved by over 200 government bodies in the State of Iowa at a fee of $90. Iowa State University was the only government body that charged a fee in accordance with Iowa Code Section 22.3 ($90) in response to a request to search their information systems for over 300 individual domains representing every school district in the state of Iowa. I do not want to waste my time exposing evidence of another Iowa government body’s lies while attempting to conceal public records. At the same time, if Jasper County, IA, wants to play a game, I am more than happy to deal the cards.
