I am requesting an update regarding the Iowa Public Information Board case involving “Officer Watson’s Chest Cam footage while talking to Michael J. Merritt on 18 NOV 2022 at approximately 1430.”

I would also like to report that evidence indicates the City of Newton, IA, refuses to accept the $79 fee communicated by City Attorney Matthew Brick of Brick Gentry P.C. in Iowa Public Information Board case 22FC:0071. Additionally, the evidence indicates no one can provide a proper response regarding the reasoning the City of Newton, IA, has refused to accept this requested payment.

The Iowa Public Information Board can expect an additional complaint against the City of Newton, IA, on 17 APR 2023 at 6:05 p.m., including evidence from 2018 to present supporting that the City of Newton, IA’s inconsistently assessed fees in accordance with Iowa Code Section 22.3. At the same time, the evidence indicates the City of Newton, IA, provided preferential treatment including financial benefit to a local newspaper while costing the City of Newton, IA, several thousand dollars in uncharged fees.

The ICRC can expect my initial complaint against the City of Newton, IA, on 17 APR 2023 at 6:05 p.m., including evidence that was produced by the City of Newton, IA Police Department under the direction and leadership of LT Ron Cook regarding accommodations that were provided to a female citizen in accordance with Iowa Code Chapter 22 on 23 JUN 2022 that were previously denied to a male citizen. At the same time, the evidence supports the conclusion that City Attorney Matthew Brick misrepresented Iowa Code Section 22.7 while withholding records related to the city’s handling of criminal complaints related to Iowa Code Section 708.7 and an interstate domestic abuse no-contact order violation (issued by San Diego East County Superior Court in case: ED100465) that Iowa Code Section 22.7(5) stipulates this government body had no legal right to withhold from a citizen requesting these public records. Evidence of the date of this gender-based discrimination is shown on NPD – Receipt – 21388 dated 23 JUN 2022. Additionally, evidence showing the records that City Attorney Matthew Brick withheld are not Confidential is documented by NP-Receipt 21733 and 21734, showing the fee assessed by the City of Newton, IA, for the release of these records.

Mayor Hansen’s gavel on 17 APR 2023 will determine the context of my second complaint regarding the historical evidence of the City of Newton, IA’s unethical use of Iowa Code Section 708.7 while searching the homes of the innocent based on zero evidence, falsely accusing a citizen of a crime during an active complaint with the Iowa Public Information Board, and concealing public records documenting their handling of the same section of our criminal code the City of Newton, IA utilized on 08 AUG 2022 to control speech while denying access to public accommodations while failing to adhere to Sections 2, 6, 7, and 9 of Article 1 of the Constitution of the State of Iowa.

I respectfully submit the following; Regarding the City of Newton, IA’s 08 AUG 2022 allegation supported by zero evidence, that I violated Iowa Code Section 708.7 during Iowa Public Information Board case 22FC:0071. At the same time, evidence shows the City of Newton, IA, violated Iowa Code Section 22.7(5) while concealing public records documenting the City of Newton, IA’s handling of criminal complaints referencing this section of our code:

Jasper County, IA powdered eggs and powdered milk do not concern me as I have spent a lifetime being issued these by the federal government in the Persian Gulf, South Korea, Bahrain, Guam, and nearly every ocean and sea on this Earth while living my life in a floating prison carrying the honorable as they served you. I will boldly pursue justice for future parents and their children in accordance with our laws that I could not achieve for my children until the paradigm that impacted their lives has been corrected and restored in the light.

When our children are taken from us because of an injustice, we should never settle.

Suppose City Attorney Brick, Mayor Hansen, and their band of go-cart bound stormtroopers decide to manifest their allegation against me that I violated Iowa Code Section 708.7 during Iowa Public Information Board case 22FC:0071 to its logical conclusion as the City of Newton, IA has toward other citizen’s that evidence indicates violated this section of our code as documented in the city’s public records.
