Electronic Mail – US Department of Veterans Affairs – 08 MAY 2023

Mrs. Convington,

I would like to know if I can talk to you or someone today about whether it is normal for victims of domestic abuse (documented – physical abuse (broken toes), psychological abuse, and sexual abuse) to feel unhinged, angry, or manifest a weird vibe while they are desperately asking for help from those that have been put in a position to help those who evidence indicates have been victimized. Yet, simultaneously, the citizen requesting help manifests symptoms of panic, anxiety, and severe depression.

Electronic Mail – Erika Sheeder – Jasper County, IA Attorney’s Office – 1135 was received from the Jasper County, IA Attorney’s Office in Response to Freedom of Information Request – Jasper County, IA – #002 – 01 MAR 2022

I respectfully request that you and my case manager read through this attached electronic mail so that I can articulate what it feels like to serve a country that manifests a demographic of people (or community) that persecute those lost in darkness when they are down and desperately asking for help and then produce evidence of attempting to criminalize these same citizens when they are trying to stand up in accordance with our laws and restore not only their life but more importantly the lives of children Jasper County, IA abandoned in what evidence indicates is a sea of prejudice and discrimination.

When I spoke at the City of Newton, IA City Council, I felt a vibe of caution but respectful interest in what I had to say. There are good people that serve in this chamber. I desire to produce an investigative work product that will make us better people while communicating evidence of this injustice to those with open hearts and minds. Unfortunately, I cannot save my children, but as we all work to improve the future, my work may save yours.

Rob, when I looked into your eyes at the last City Council meeting I was at, I saw the heart of a good man. It disappoints me you have placed a wall of what evidence indicates are unethical bricks between our dialog.

“4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

Holy Bible, International Version, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

“17 This is my command: Love each other. 18 If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 9 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.”

Holy Bible, International Version, John 15:17-20

If I speak the truth and evidence shows I have never violated our laws, why does a town with possibly a dozen churches in its downtown block produce evidence of hating me?

Disclaimer: Elected and Appointed Leaders have been included in this electronic mail because evidence of discrimination against mental health disabilities and gender-based discrimination regarding domestic abuse will not end until those that suffer and have sustained damage from these events stand up and have the courage to speak out publicly regarding evidence produced by an alleged Victim Witness Coordinator.

Respectfully,
